Wreaths Across America is scheduled this year for Saturday, December 16 at 11am.  The Rolling Oaks Memorial Center has 100 veterans buried there, and we want to place a wreath on every one of those graves.  Please consider donating a wreath  (or 2!) to our event, by going to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org., and supporting our veterans who fought so that we are free.  Wreaths are only $17 each!  Deadline for purchase is Tuesday, November 28.  And join us for a moving ceremony on the 16th and helping us place wreaths on those graves.  Rolling Oaks Cemetery is at 400 Freeport Drive in Coppell.  For further information, call 214-529-9144.

Coppell will once again host a Wreaths Across America ceremony for their 6th time on Saturday, December 17, 2022, and will be held at 11am at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, 400 Freeport Parkway.  The ceremony is open to the public and is held simultaneously with another 2500+ sites across the country and worldwide.

WAA is committed to teaching younger generations about the value of their freedoms, and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those rights.  Their motto is REMEMBER, HONOR, and TEACH.

All are welcome to attend our ceremony and are invited to help place wreaths on the graves of the almost 90 veterans who are buried there.  The City of Coppell Honor Guard will be on site to present the colors, Taps will be played, and then the wreaths will be placed by any who wish to help.

In past years, we have had such generosity by citizens in Coppell who purchase wreaths for the site.  Any overages are automatically sent to Dallas National Cemetery, as they struggle to fill their very large capacity.  This year we are still in need of 70 wreaths for Rolling Oaks, so if you are interested in helping out, please see below for instructions on how to donate. The wreaths are $15 each.

There are 2 ways to purchase wreaths (and they need to be ordered by November 30):

1.  Online, by going to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/TX0402.  That is the Coppell group website, and the easiest way to donate.

2.  Fill out an order form from the website and mail a check to: Wreaths Across America, PO Box 249, Columbia Falls, ME  04623.
