Children's Playhouse Children enjoy the live action of a play while they learn lessons from classic stories.

Theatre Coppell will once again bring to life another classic children’s tale, the story of the Little Red Hen.  The show is part of the theatre’s Children’s Playhouse, which regularly presents live shows for younger kids, designed and performed by Story Time Theater.

The Little Red Hen not only entertains kids but also teaches lessons.  Who will help the hen with her chores?  “Not I,” say all her friends. During the story, they learn a lot about friendship.

This show also includes a brief post-show workshop, and children are encouraged to stay afterward and meet the cast and take photos.

The show takes place on Wednesday, August 13, at 10:30 a.m., at the Center for the Arts, 157 S. Moore Road, in Coppell.  Tickets for both adults and children are $7 each.  Children two years old and under are admitted free with an accompanying parent.  No reservations are required and tickets are sold at the theatre on the day of the show.
