Assistance League of Coppell, which is a women's community service organization, will be having its annual Information Coffee event for prospective members from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 6 at 549 Leavalley Lane.

All women are welcome to attend the informational event to learn about the organization, which is all-volunteer based, has been around for 14 years and is a chapter of National Assistance League.

Also, Assistance League of Coppell is having a meeting on Sept. 20 at Valley Ranch Baptist Church, which prospective members are invited to attend.
