Fresh off their fall show “A Song for All Seasons,” the Coppell Community Chorale invites you to a special Christmas Concert at Rejoice Lutheran Church on December 11th: “Our Favorite Time of Year.”  The concert features choral arrangements celebrating the Christmas season. It will include classics like “White Christmas,” and “Silent Night,” as well as more contemporary pieces like “Text Me Merry Christmas” and “Mary Did You Know.”

Remaining performance dates for the 2015 – 2016 season include a performance of Faure’s Requiem at First United Methodist Church, Coppell on February 27th, 2016 and the traditional spring concert, “Mood Music” the weekend of May 14th and 15th, 2016 at the Coppell Center for the Arts.

The Coppell Community Chorale will begin celebrating its 30th year anniversary in 2016. The choir brings together singers of all ages from Coppell and surrounding areas. Its mission is to promote a greater appreciation and enjoyment of quality music throughout the greater Coppell community. The forty-voice non-audition choir performs under the direction of Maestro Duilio Dobrin. Dobrin is an award-winning conductor who has performed both nationally and internationally. Additionally, he is a composer, arranger, and educator. In 2013, he was appointed to a teaching position at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

The chorale rehearses Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Coppell Center for the Arts located at 157 S. Moore Road in Coppell. The Chorale’s year runs from August to May. Two themed concert weekends are held in November and May along with a Holiday Concert in December and Special Concert in early Spring.  Rehearsals for our Spring concerts begin in early January.
