The Coppell holiday parade has been cancelled due to bad weather.

Here is a message from the city about the event:

"Due to inclement weather and for safety reasons, the 2011 Annual Lighted Parade has been canceled. However, the fun at Town Center will still take place with only indoor activities occurring. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and include visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and free Biggby hot chocolate and coffee, and holiday cookies. CiTV will be onhand to record video letters to Santa and holiday wishes you might like to pass on to your family! Don't let the rain dampen your holiday spirits! Come out to Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd. for some indoor holiday fun! All indoor activities will end at 8 p.m."
