On Thursday, September 19, our JV team competed at the Lewisville Rick Neill Memorial Invitational. The runners took on a flat course that circled a scenic lake, but the true challenge came from the heat and tough concrete terrain. Despite these conditions, our athletes stayed focused and gave outstanding performances. Here are some of the top results from both the male and female runners, showing their grit and determination on race day.

Individual and Team Highlights

Coach Wren’s Final Remarks

We will continue our season at the Jesuit Classic this Saturday at the Prestonwood Polo Club in Oak Point. I’m excited to see how both our JV and Varsity runners perform as we build on the momentum from these recent meets.

Looking Ahead

As the season progresses, our JV runners continue building on their strong performances, while our Varsity team prepares for the Hoka/McNeil Invitational in Round Rock on Saturday, September 21. This meet is a key opportunity for the Varsity squad to compete on the state course and gain valuable experience ahead of the championship. With each race, our athletes are growing stronger and more focused on their goals. The hard work they’re putting in now will surely pay off as the season advances. Until next time, we will continue to push forward.
