That lovable family of creepy kooks is alive and well and living in their super-spooky mansion in Central Park. The Addams family, led by the elegantly gaunt and seemingly undead Morticia  (played by senior, Macy Johnson) and her ever-devoted husband Gomez (senior Mark Beshai), is in turmoil. Their daughter Wednesday (senior Macy McCready), now 18, finds herself falling in love—a sensation that is unsettling for both her and her family of endearing misfits. When the teen invites her new boyfriend, Lucas Beineke (junior Barrett Engler), over with his “normal” family to get better acquainted with the Addams household, comic chaos ensues.

Under the direction of Lisa Tabor, choreography by Whitney Bollinger and musical direction of Adam Wright and Isaac Leaverton, Coppell High School promises to keep you laughing and dancing in your seat.“ I am so excited to be directing this musical.  The team of parents, students and volunteers is one of the best I have ever worked with and it shows in every aspect on stage.  I know the audience is going to be love this show,” said Director Lisa Tabor.

Senior Macy Johnson(Morticia Addams) says, “I grew up watching the Addam’s Family reruns on TV.  To be Morticia in this show is a dream come true.”  Senior Mark Beshai (Gomez Addams) says, “I have loved every minute of working with this cast and crew.  I cannot wait to perform for an audience.”  Senior Katie Love (Alice Beineke) says, “I this the idea of doing the Addam’s Family during the Halloween season makes this show extra fun.  I really think the Coppell community will enjoy this musical.”

Barefoot in the Park

is ready to run into your heart

Set in the 1960s, Barefoot in the Park, a comedy by Neil Simon, is a love story about newlyweds, Paul and Corie.  Paul (junior Aidan Harris) is a buttoned up attorney and Corie (junior Natalie Weix) is a young free spirit.  These opposites soon learn that wedded bliss takes a lot of work and compromise, especially when Corie’s anxious mom (junior Layne Allen) and their next door neighbor (senior Venki Padala) seem to be setting off fireworks of their own.

Under the direction of Mark Hawkins, Coppell High School promises to help you laugh out loud at this romantic comedy, just in time for the Valentine holiday.

Junior Claire Robinson (Assistant Director) says, “We have all put so much time and effort into this show.  We hope you will enjoy it.”  “This is such a great and  funny show.  I love that we are able to perform it in our small venue theatre, the Black Box at Coppell High School.  It’s such an intimate venue and it will be so fun,” said junior Layne Allen (Mrs. Banks).
