If you have an appetite for great food and drink, you won’t want to miss Taste of Coppell. A highlight of each fall, the event is presented by the Coppell Chamber of  Commerce, and will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Four Points by Sheraton DFW Airport North.

Taste will bring together some of the best establishments in the area (see below). We’ll also have a cash bar. Frost Bank is the Presenting Sponsor. Other key sponsors include Four Points by Sheraton, Zenzero, IMS Payments and Daryl Flood Relocation and Logistics.

Adult tickets are just $30 in advance, $35 at door, and child tickets (12 and under) are $10 in advance, $15 at door. Get a group of 10 or more together and the deal is even sweeter: Advance tickets are just $20 each, $25 at the door.

Coppell ISD Superintendent Brad Hunt and North Lake College President Dr. Christa Slejko will be the featured speakers at the Coppell Chamber of Commerce's annual State of Education Luncheon, Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Cozby Library and Community Commons. They will be giving updates on all that's been accomplished recently and sharing insights on some of the great things on the horizon. Even though it’s summer, at the Coppell Chamber, we’re already thinking about the fall -- and putting together a great lineup of events that will appeal to everyone. 

First up is our Pinslayers Bowling Tournament. This event will be fun for all levels, with prizes for highest individual and team score, best-dressed and team spirit. Teams of four are $250, and each bowler will enjoy two hours of bowling, food, a drink ticket and game card. It all happens Friday afternoon, Aug. 23, at Pinstack in Irving.

Then comes our “speed networking” event, Mega Market. Attendees make their pitch to new prospective customer every 90 seconds. The event will be 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at ProSource of Coppell. Registration is $30 for Chamber members, $35 for non-members. Presenting Sponsor is Trinity Title of Texas.

Our 26^th Annual Golf Classic is Monday morning, Oct. 14, at Hackberry Creek Country Club. It’s a great event, with competition and prizes for men and women. Registration is just $600 for a foursome, $175 for individuals, with numerous sponsorship opportunities. We thank our Presenting Sponsors, PPG Paints and Right Choice Painting & Construction.

And just a little farther down the road is the highlight of the fall, our 10^th Annual Taste of Coppell. For one low admission price, guests will enjoy unlimited food and beverage tastings from some of our community’s finest establishments. More than 500 people attended last year’s event, and the vendor lineup included restaurants, bakeries, breweries and wineries.
