Coppell ISD seniors performed well on the 2012 SAT and ACT exams according to recently released results. Eighty-six percent of the graduating classes of 2012 (757) took the SAT, and their total mean score of 1696, exceeded state and national mean scores on all three sub tests (Critical Reading, Math, and Writing). For Coppell students taking the SAT test, 68% scored a 1550 or higher, far ahead of Texas (27%), and the nation (43%).
