Danish Khan is only nine years old but is passionable about music.

He played his first piano composition at Austin Elementary Talent Show in Coppell on June 3. As the talent show theme was endangered species, Danish named his original composition "Vaquita", dedicating it to a rare species of porpoise. There are estimated to be only between 100-300 surviving Vaquita species around the world.

During his talent show performance introduction, Khan said that as this is his first composition, he is still learning and hope to improve his compositional skills. Khan is a student of DFW Music Teacher, a Coppell-based music school. His piano teacher is Ms. Adia Fox and his parents are Amir and Liza Khan.
