Proceeds to benefit Junior Achievement of Dallas and more than 20 local nonprofits
WHAT: Insurance professionals from across DFW will duke it out on the sand volleyball court on Thursday, Oct. 6 at IMA Financial Group’s annual Sandblast event, a round-robin sand volleyball tournament and fundraiser.
DFW residents can register to participate in the tournament or attend the fundraiser as spectators and enjoy music, food and drinks. Individual tickets start at $75. The friendly competition is expected to raise over $60,000 for DFW-area nonprofits including Junior Achievement, who will serve as the fundraiser’s spotlight beneficiary.
WHO: Sandblast is an annual fundraiser for the IMA Foundation, which supports local nonprofits in the areas of Advancing Youth, Education, and Arts & Culture. In 2021, the IMA Foundation’s Sandblast event raised more $40,000 and provided donations to more than 20 organizations in the DFW area. Each year, IMA associates volunteer at more than 150 nonprofits across the country.
