First United Methodist Church of Coppell would like to invite all women to join us for If: Coppell on Feb. 7-8th. If: Coppell is a local meeting of the If: Gathering, a conference of women being hosted at hundreds of sites around the world to consider big questions like “If God is real, then what?”
The If: Gathering, which will be webcast from Austin, is led by well known, inspirational Christian women including Jen Hatmaker, Jennie Allen, Ann Voskamp, and Lauren Chandler. The purpose of the If: Gathering is to gather women to talk about how to live out the unique calling God has placed on their lives, to equip women to know God more deeply and to live out their purposes, and to unleash women to utilize their God-given gifts leaving a tangible impact on the world.
The leaders of the conference proclaim "...we do not want to waste our lives here on earth. We believe that we need to find our purposes individually and corporately for our generation. We believe that we can have a greater impact if we come together and execute some mission together. We will begin to offer you ways in which to live out your calling for the sake of the Kingdom, the world at large, and your immediate communities..."
If: Coppell will be held from 3:00-10:00pm on Friday, Feb 7th, and Saturday, Feb 8th from 10:00am-5:00pm. Dinner Friday and lunch Saturday are included in the registration fee of $25 per person. Discounted rates are available for women who can only attend Saturday.
