Women to Women, the women’s ministry at First United Methodist Church Coppell, will host its annual Women’s Dinner on October, 9 at 6:30 p.m. in Wesley Hall. Each year, the women of FUMC Coppell host a special dinner featuring a local guest speaker. Reservations requested through the church website, fumccoppell.org or calling the church office at 972-462-0471. The cost of the dinner is $15 paid at the door.
The dinner this year will feature Reverend Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles. Clark-Soles is an Associate Professor of New Testament at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. She will present on Reading for Dear Life: The Gospel of John. She will focus on how the Gospel of John can help us all live an abundant life now. Clark-Soles has been at SMU teaching at Perkins School of Theology since 2001. She has authored many books and papers and speaks regularly throughout the United States.
