Coppell will once again host a Wreaths Across America ceremony for their 6th time on Saturday, December 18, 2021, and will be held at 11am at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, 400 Freeport Parkway.  The ceremony is open to the public an dis held simultaneously with another 2500+ sites across the country and worldwide.

WAA is committed to teaching younger generations about the value of their freedoms, and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those rights.  Their motto is REMEMBER, HONOR, and TEACH.

All are welcome to attend our ceremony and are invited to help place wreaths on the graves of the almost 90 veterans who are buried there.  The City of Coppell Honor Guard will be on site to present the colors, Taps will be played, and then the wreaths will be placed by any who wish to help.

In past years, we have had such generosity by citizens in Coppell who purchase wreaths for the site.  Any overages are automatically sent to Dallas National Cemetery, as they struggle to fill their very large capacity.  This year we are still in need of 60 wreaths for Rolling Oaks, so if you are interested in helping out, please see below for instructions on how to donate. The wreaths are $15 each.

There are 2 ways to purchase wreaths (and they need to be ordered by November 30):

1.  Online, by going to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/TX0402.  That is the Coppell group website, and the easiest way to donate.

2.  Fill out an order form from the website and mail a check to: Wreaths Across America, PO Box 249, Columbia Falls, ME  04623.
