Coppell City Councilman Wes Mays will be speaking about Coppell’s city tax rate, the school district tax rate, recapture, and the impact that pending state legislation could have on all of our tax burden at the next meeting of the Coppell Republican Women. Join us on Thursday, February 7, to learn important information from Wes’ deep knowledge base and his experience in city government. Social time will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Cozby Library & Community Commons.

Wes serves on the Coppell City Council, Place 3. He participated in Coppell’s Citizen Summit in 2011 and has served as the president of the Arbor Manors Homeowners Association and the Westbury Manor Homeowner Association. He is a graduate of Leadership North Texas. He currently serves as the city liaison to Coppell ISD and the North Central Council of Governments and formerly served as city liaison to the Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD/Lewisville ISD and the Metrocrest Community Clinic.
