The next General Meeting of the Assistance League of Coppell is Thursday, February 19th, at the Valley Ranch Baptist Church, 1501 East Belt Line Road. The meeting is in the conference room.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 with refreshments, followed by a presentation by Sandy McCurdy on the topic of “Living Well in Coppell”. She is a Coppell resident.

The Assistance League is currently accepting applications for the High School Senior $1,000.

Scholarship of 2015. A student is not considered based on class ranking, grade point average or financial need. The student will be judged on their commitment to serving the community.

Scholarship applications are due by March 31st. All information can be found at www.coppellassistanceleague.org

The prior meeting was held at the Coppell Public Library and the program was given by Jane Darling on the many ways to use the library and the resources that it provides. She also discussed the expansion and renovation that will be starting in August 2015 and last for one year.

Those interested in finding out more about this organization or joining the Assistance League of Coppell are INVITED to attend this meeting on February 19th.
