The Coppell Family YMCA, 146 Town Center Blvd., will host its annual summer sign up weekend, Friday, March 20-Sunday, March 22. 

“This is the time for people to sign their children up for summer sorts, day camps, Camp on the Lake, and swim lessons,” says Gayle Westapher, Executive Director for the YMCA. “We offer something for all school age children and even summer t-ball and swim lessons for the preschool age group.  Whether you are looking for a sports clinic or league, day camp, swim lessons, both private and semi-private, or the Cruisers swim team; this is the time to sign up.  Again this year, we will be offering Camp on the Lake, a waterfront camp on Lake Lewisville. This is be a great place where kids who have traditionally spent the summers at one of our more conventional camps can experience a residential camp feel in a day camp.  Children can ride horses, swim, shoot archers, go boating and learn to sail,” Westapher added.
