Auditions coming November 12-14 at FUMC-Coppell!

First United Methodist Church of Coppell is proud to present the smash, long-running Disney Broadway musical “Beauty and the Beast,” February 28, March 1 & 2, 2019. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costuming and sets with—of course—a bit of Disney magic throughout. So we invite you to “Be Our Guest” and audition for this great show!

Auditions are open for all students in grades 6-12; you do not need to be a resident of Coppell, a student in Coppell ISD, or even a member of First United Methodist church to audition—all students in grades 6-12 are welcome!
