The Coppell Women’s Club will host Emmy and Katie Award winner Todd Whitthorne, president and chief executive officer of Cooper Concepts, Inc., at the Feb. 6 meeting at the North Lake Coppell North Campus.

 Mr. Whitthorne will share insights to help members develop good choices that they can make every day, leading to healthier, happier lives. He will also discuss different classes available at the Cooper Institute.

 A Coppell resident, Mr. Whitthorne oversees Cooper Wellness, an in-residence behavior modification program at the world-renowned Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas. He also works directly with Cooper Consulting Partners to assist organizations in developing proven strategies to increase employee health and productivity and decrease related healthcare costs.

 A graduate of UCLA holding a bachelors degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology, Mr. Whitthorne is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He has served as the television host for the Dallas Marathon and the Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot since 2005. He has run several marathons and half-marathons and enjoys outdoor activities.
