YMSL of Coppell Needs Non-Perishable Food Donations for The Ultimate Gift 2018

The Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) of Coppell is partnering with Metrocrest Services for our annual all-chapter philanthropy event called The Ultimate Gift. The idea for the event began in 2010 as a spin-off from the novel of the same name written by Jim Stovall. The primary focus of the Ultimate Gift is to achieve a transformational impact for one philanthropy.  Metrocrest Services assists families, individuals, and senior adults who are coping with crisis situations, need help stabilizing their lives, or who require support to live independently. YMSL will be making some much-needed renovations to the Metrocrest warehouse as well as stocking it with food and household items for their clients.

We are hosting food drives throughout the Coppell community beginning this weekend and we need your help! Please check your pantries for non-perishable items to donate or grab some extras if you’re planning a trip to the grocery store in the next couple of days.  If you’d prefer to make a cash donation our chapter volunteers will be happy to do the grocery shopping for you! Please place your donation items on your front porch and mark them “YMSL”. The dates that we’ll be in the Coppell community collecting donations are listed below.  Thank you for your support!

Saturday, October 6 beginning at 9:30 am

Sunday, October 7 beginning at 12:00 pm

Saturday, October 13 beginning at 9:30 am
