Theatre Coppell presents Ordinary People on weekends October 5through October 21 at the Center for the Arts, 157 S. Moore Road.
Patrick Osigian, a junior at New Tech High @ Coppell, plays the leading role in Theatre Coppell's Ordinary People.
The story is of a young man, Conrad, who is still haunted by the traumatic death of his older brother, and both situations – the death of their popular, handsome son and the mental wounds of their remaining son – cause family upheaval and division. Conrad starts to mend, but his parents may not be so lucky.
Based on Judith Guest’s book dramatized by Nancy Gilsenan, audiences will remember the movie version starring Mary Tyler Moore, Donald Sutherland, and Timothy Hutton. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2:30pm.
Tickets to Ordinary People are $17 to $20 and are available online at www.TheatreCoppell.com or by calling 972-745-7719.
