For the first time in at least six years, all Coppell High School choirs that competed in UIL Region 20 Concert and Sight-Reading Contest on April 10 at Duncanville High School were awarded Sweepstakes honors. The choirs are comprised of students from both New Tech High and Coppell High School.   

 

To earn this award, the choirs earned Superior Ratings in both concert performance and sight-reading.  Competing choirs included two varsity choirs, A Cappella and Kantorei, and two non-varsity, Men’s Choir and Bella Voce.   

 

The choirs are directed by Joshua Brown and Will McLean. This is Mr. Brown’s first year as director at Coppell High School. Mr. McLean is in his second year as assistant director.
