The Coppell Women’s Club recently held their annual spring luncheon at Brookhaven Country Club, with a theme of “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.” Members were encouraged to wear hats, and prizes were awarded in several categories, including Susan Dailey’s win for “Most Creative Hat.”
Outgoing board members were recognized for their service, while the 2013-14 board was installed. Serving on this new board are: President Sally McCurdy; Vice President Robin Collins; Secretary Cookie McCall; Treasurer Paula Feldman; Business Co-Chairs Gail Peacock and Codi-Lynn Seib; Program Co-Chairs Jill Waterbury and Pam Varnell; Hospitality Co-Chairs Kathy Freitas and Abbie Burbank; Luncheon Co-Chairs Mary Duran and Suzanne Williams; Web Administrator Michelle LaFountain; Special Interest Groups Tracy Fisher; Communications Susan Dailey; Membership Annette Morton; Social Media Co-Chairs Codi-Lynn Seib and Cigdem Zouaui; Ambassador Hilda Klein; and Sunshine Co-Chairs Cookie McCall, Miriam Honig, and Sue Miller.
The Coppell Women’s Club is the largest club organization in Coppell with 180 members. Forty new members joined during the 2012-13 year. Club meetings will resume in September at the North Lake College Coppell Campus on the first Wednesday of the month.
