Theatre Coppell’s Children’s Playhouse will present three live-action plays for children this summer.

“Gertrude McFuzzy & and the Little Whos” will be presented on June 19 at 10:30 a.m. The story is based on the famous Dr. Seuss story. On July 24, the theatre will present “The Little Engine That Could,” and on August 21, “The Ugly Duckling.”

All three shows are presented by live actors on stage, with the children’s audience sitting close to the action. After the performance, audience members can meet the cast and take photos for souvenirs of their theatre experience.

All tickets cost $7.00 and are available at the door on the day of the performance at the Center for the Arts, located at 157 S. Moore Road, in Coppell. Children 2 years old and under are admitted free with an adult. Each show lasts approximately 40 minutes.
