The Coppell ISD Board of Trustees recently approved expanding the district’s open enrollment program to include New Tech High @ Coppell for incoming 9th and 10th graders who live in the City of Coppell, but not within the attendance boundaries of CISD.  

Open Enrollment applications for new students to the program for the 2018-19 school year begins April 20.  New Tech High @ Coppell will host an Open Enrollment Information Meeting for its potential Open Enrollment students on Tuesday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. in its Media Center.

New Tech High @Coppell is a choice high school that offers teaching that engages and a culture that empowers through personalized learning, a community service focus, project based learning, and community and business engagement.  For more information on New Tech High @ Coppell, visit  www.coppellisd.com/newtech.

In April 2011, the CISD Board of Trustees approved the use of Open Enrollment for the admission of elementary students who live within the City of Coppell, but outside the attendance boundaries of CISD (an area which includes, but is not limited to Coppell Greens and Riverchase). In February 2018, the CISD Board of Trustees voted to expand Open Enrollment to incoming 9th and 10th graders for New Tech High @ Coppell. 

Open Enrollment applications for new students for the 2018-19 school year begins April 20. Open Enrollment renewal applications for current students in the program begins June 7 for the 2018-19 school year.
