Natalie Fleming CEF Run to Fund Overall Female Winner

On May 5th, the Coppell ISD Education Foundation (CEF) hosted its 6thRun to Fund.  This year the event was held at the newly renovated Andy Brown Park East.  Over 800 people participated in the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run event.  The overall male winner was Kazimir Carlsen-Phelan, a junior from Coppell High School, with a time of 15:41.4 and the overall female winner was Natalie Fleming, a freshman from Coppell High School, with a time of 19:05.5.

“Having the Run to Fund at Andy Brown Park East enabled us to make this even more of a community-wide event this year," said Rosie Stevens, the CEF Run to Fund Chairperson.  "We were excited to have 16 sponsor booths on site.  It is because of the support of our sponsors and the community members who come out to run that we are able to fund our Classroom and First-Year Teacher Grants.”  In addition, a portion of each registration will be donated to Coppell ISD physical education departments, totaling $2000.
