DianaLyn Perkins of CMS East received a Classroom Grant last fall from CEF board members

The Coppell ISD Education Foundation (CEF) is currently accepting Classroom Grant applications.  Any CISD teacher, team of teachers or campus is eligible to submit a grant application for up to $7,500.  Classroom Grants is one CEF's signature programs.  It is designed to encourage, facilitate and recognize innovative, creative and effective instructional approaches that directly impact students.

The application deadline is October 12 at 4:30 pm and recipients will be notified in late November or early December.  Last year CEF awarded 19 Classroom Grants across 13 CISD campuses for a total of $41,500.  Since its inception, CEF has given out over $1 million in grants.

Funding for the Classroom Grant program comes from CEF’s annual fundraising campaign, which has been renamed this year to “Give for Grants.”  The campaign runs from late October through early November.  For more information about CEF or its Classroom Grant program visit, www.coppellisdef.com.
