Chef Morris Salerno of Bistecca restaurant poses with the 2018-2019 Coppell Lariettes.

The 29th annual Lariette Spaghetti Dinner, Raffle and Silent Auction sponsored by the Coppell Lariette varsity drill team will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, August 31, at Coppell High School in the Commons before the first home football game.  The Coppell Cowboys will face off against Sachse High School.

“This is the primary fundraiser for the Lariettes,” said Diane Craig, the new Lariette Director.  “We will also host a Junior Clinic and Showoffs, but this will be the biggest event for the year.  I am amazed by the support that the Lariettes receive from family, friends, and the Coppell community.”

The funds earned by the dinner will go to fund all the Lariette activities throughout the year including costumes, choreography, and competition fees.

Tickets for the event are $10 for the adult dinner and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Dinner is provided by Morris Salerno of Bistecca in Highland Village and includes spaghetti, bread, salad and a drink. Dessert items are available for $1 each at the bake sale.

“The Lariettes are so grateful to Morris for his generous contribution to the Spaghetti Dinner since 1993,” said Lisa Lasky, LSO President.  “His commitment as a sponsor is one of the big reasons this event is such a success.”

In addition to the dinner, there will be an online auction, silent auction, and raffle. The online auction is a new addition this year that will run from August 21st-28th at www.chslariettes.com. Hundreds of items will be available for bidding with the online auction and then live silent auction during the Spaghetti Dinner.  Items this year include a stand up office desk and accessories, one-night stay and breakfast at the Four Seasons, two nights stay in a luxury cabin in Broken Bow, special events with the Lariettes, event tickets, and lots of gift cards from your local restaurants and retailers.  Winning online bidders can pay via credit card online.  Winning bidders of the live auction Friday night can pay for their silent auction purchases with cash, check, MasterCard or Visa before they leave the dinner or Saturday morning.

The raffle tickets are $5 and $1 and items include a Go Pro Hero5, Dallas Stars tickets, inflatable movie screen, golf outings, sapphire and gold bracelet, fitness passes, and more. Tickets are available from any Lariette drill team member.
