Mariah Sanchez, a new Coppell High School teacher, and Richard Stephens, a new CHS 9 teacher, receive their New Teacher Grant for $250 from the Coppell ISD Education Foundation.
Board members from CEF attended the CISD New Hire Breakfast, hosted by the Coppell Chamber of Commerce, on August 6 at CMS North to present First Year Teacher Grants. CEF awarded $250 to 47 CISD teachers in their first year of teaching to help with the cost of setting up their new classroom. A total of $11,750 was given out. CEF is the leading non-profit foundation in our community that supports CISD schools, educators and learners.
