In partnership with the Coppell Farmers Market the Coppell Arts Council orchestrates an arts festival each year. This fall, the Festival of Arts will take place October 28 from 8am - 2pm located in the Old Town Square adjacent to the Famers Market. The Festival showcases the talents of your Coppell friends and neighbors, including painters, sculptors, crafters, musicians, and some of Coppell's incredibly talented community groups. Come visit over 30 local artisan booths including Sharon Arnold's Coppell Candle Company,  painters Matthew Gaffney and Hector Tarango, Jean Palmer's fused glass, the Govil Gallery, and The Ran Collection. In Quincy’s Event Center, experience live performances from the Students of the Coppell Conservatory, local pianist and composer Shyla Pant, members of the Coppell Community Chorale, members of the Coppell Community Orchestra, local band The Screaming Weasels and Coppell Children's Choir: Vox Decorus.  Kids can view and play on musical instruments in the 'Instrument Petting Zoo', create their own art in the Make-and-Take Art stations and from 12pm - 2pm participate in an interactive art project with CISD Art Teachers creating greeting cards to be bundled and sold to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Admission is free!  Come support your local arts!
