The non-audition choir performs under the direction of Allison Hartzell. Mrs. Hartzell is thrilled with her first season as the Artistic Director of the Coppell Community Chorale. In addition, Mrs. Hartzell is currently in her 12th year as the choral director at Coppell Middle School West. Under her direction, the West choirs consistently receive Superior and Best in Class ratings at state and local competitions.

The audition choirs perform under the direction of Ricky Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell is excited to be serving this season as the Artistic Director of the Variations (a branch of the Coppell Community Chorale). Most recently, Mr. Mitchell served as the Director of Music Ministries at First United Methodist Church of Coppell, including director of their youth Broadway musicals. Prior to that he was at FUMC-Irving in the same role. He previously served as Executive Director of Student Programs at Grand Prairie ISD as well as a variety of administrative positions at Lamesa ISD.

The Coppell Community Chorale is a volunteer-based, non-profit arts organization. As one of Coppell’s oldest community organizations, the Chorale enriches and educates the Coppell community by demonstrating outstanding leadership in the performance and preservation of choral music.
