CHS Sophomore Sierra Andres ran the 400m Dash in 58.63, earning First Place at the Keller Invitational Track Meet on March 28th.

The Coppell track teams were in Keller last week, competing in the Keller Invitational on Thursday, March 28 at the Keller High School Stadium.

The CHS varsity girls brought home a second place finish for the meet. First place individual medals went to Sarah Agnew in the Pole Vault and Sierra Andres in the 400m Dash, while the 4x400m Relay Team of Leah Yates, Chiamaka Ukoha, Andres and Abel also brought home First Place Gold. Jessie Cranmer placed Second in the 1600m Run, as did Anna Novosadova in 100m Hurdles, Andrea Abel in 300m Hurdles, and Rosemary Brinegar in Pole Vault.  Third place finishes were posted Grace Barden in the 800, Cranmer in the 3200, Kyndal Runnels in the 100m Hurdles, Novosadova in the 300m Hurdles, Abel in the Long Jump, and Sammy Robben in the Discus Throw. Also taking third were the 4x100m Relay team of Kate Rohrbough, Andres, Ukoha and Adaiwu Nwaiwu and the 4x200m Relay team of Yates, Ukoha, Selase Buatsi and Nwaiwu.  Rohrbough finished Fourth in the 300m Hurdles and the Long Jump, as did Bailey Bedichek in the 200m Dash. Bedicheck also placed fifth in the 400m Dash, along with Rohrbough in the 100m Hurdles and Buatsi in the Triple Jump. Sixth place honors went to Paskalina Bourbon in the 3200m Run, Barden in the 400m Dash, Kylie Pickrell in the High Jump, Abel in the Triple Jump, and Novosadova in the Discus.

For the Cowboys, Chibuzor Osuji brought home a gold medal in the High Jump and the 110m Hurdles, while Josh Thomas took first in the 3200m Run. The Boys 4x100m Relay team of Jacob Murray, Eric Stevenson, Omari Cole and Cameron Smith crossed the finish line in second place. Third place honors went to Smith in the 100m Dash, Osuji in 300m Hurdles, Clifton Fadal in Long Jump, and Colin Echols in Discus.  John Herubin took fourth in the 110m Hurdles, along with Blake Mahon in High Jump and Esere Nesiama in Pole Vault. The 4x200m Relay team of Jacob Murray, Eric Stevenson, Omari Cole and Gavin McDaniel placed Fifth, as did the 4x400m Relay team of Brock Ethridge, Eric Stevenson, Killian Bresnahan and Josh Fink.  Adding sixth place points were Jacob Murray in the 100m Dash, Leighton Light in Shot Put, and Chad Williams in Pole Vault.

Coppell JV girls finished first, with points earned by Keyes, Kaiser, Gainer, Howard, Vincenzo, Okereke, Watley, Widner, Omogah, Francis, Valdez, Burgess, LaPuma, Burch, Cervantes , Garvin, Stiff, Freeto and Fadal. JV Boys  had  top-six finishes from  Anderson, Conkleton, Holmes, Onstott, Williams, Slette, Oh, Olialo, Young, Pierce, Moore, Abalos, Traw, McRae, the 4x100 Relay team, and the 4x200 Realy team.
