Roles for boys and girls currently in 2nd through 8th grades include puppies, reindeer, and huskies, some with lines, some without.  Small musical numbers will be included.   Not every child is called to every rehearsal, but no conflicts with performances can be accepted.  There will be no rehearsals on Saturdays, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, or on Thanksgiving day, but Sunday after Thanksgiving will be a mandatory first dress rehearsal.  All conflicts with rehearsals must be listed at auditions.  Parents are cautioned to be aware of any scheduled school programs that may conflict.

The Play: Josh is one of 8 abandoned puppies who are cared for by Miss Elly.  To the ridicule of the others, Josh wants to be a Saint Bernard so he can be a rescue dog.  At Christmas, when presents are being delivered by a sled pulled by strong-willed huskies, Santa Claus and his reindeer are caught in a snowstorm.  Josh courageously saves the day-and Christmas.
