Mockingbird students and their dads recently braved the wind, cold and rain for a fun-filled "Camp-Out Under the Stars" on school grounds.  

The Coppell Fire Department and local state troopers graciously paid a visit during the evening, handing out stickers, flashlights and pencils, as well as offering tours of the fire truck, ambulance and patrol vehicles.  The night wound down with a hot BBQ dinner for all and homemade s'mores, roasted over a fire pit.  

The Mavs' Dads wishes to thank all who attended, especially our local fire fighters and DPS troopers.
