The joys and trials of parenthood are the subjects for Theatre Coppell’s latest musical, Baby, opening Friday, July 12.

Three couples are contemplating new arrivals. One couple is in college and both are youthfully exuberant about their first family addition. Another pair is doing everything they can to have a baby, but problems arise. The last couple has already had three daughters and are surprised to be expecting again.

Clever lyrics and catchy music provide levity in their households, thought-provoking situations and, in the end, the joys that only a baby can bring.

The cast of Baby includes newcomers to the Theatre Coppell stage, as well as some recognizable actors from previous shows.
