Broadway's "Cinderella" is based on the original 1957 made-for-television version by Rodgers + Hammerstein and starred Julie Andrews. This version was remade in 1965 featuring Lesley Anne Warren as Cinderella; and again in 1997 featuring Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother. The Broadway production debuted in 2013 and features an expanded libretto, script, and cast, including new songs, characters, and plot twists! "This is not your grandmother's 'Cinderella,'" says Ricky Mitchell, musical director. "You'll be surprised at what happens at the end of the first act, and you'll have to see what happens in Act Two to get all your questions answered!"
