Three Coppell High School students will be serving as BubbleLife.com interns this fall as a part of the neighborhood news website's internship program.

CHS student Tolulope Salako has been selected to be Coppell BubbleLife's news intern and will cover activities and events, primarily at the school. Elizabeth Sims, the website's features intern, will write articles about local people and places. John Loop will serve as the sports intern and provide Coppell BubbleLife readers with unique and up-to-date information about CHS sports programs.

All of the interns will be writing articles every week, which will be published on Coppell BubbleLife, throughout the remainder of the fall semester. This internship will give the students an opportunity to gain real-world experience reporting stories for a news organization while improving their writing and photography skills.

BubbleLife Media launched its Coppell High School internship program with the help of Chase Wofford, the adviser for the school's student newspaper, The Sidekick.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity BubbleLife is giving our Coppell High School student journalists," Wofford said. "This internship allows them to work with professional journalists and to build upon the skills they are developing on the high school newspaper staff. There is so much opportunity and interest in hyperlocal news, especially in a community such as Coppell, so I'm thrilled and thankful that BubbleLife is providing this program to high school students."

The interns' first articles will be featured on Coppell BubbleLife on Monday, Oct. 22.
