The Coppell Arts Council is proud to announce that it is in the process of refreshing the outdoor sculptures around Old Town Coppell and the Senior Center. It is expected that all of the new sculptures will be installed in the next few weeks, and they will remain in place for two years as part of the ongoing rotation of the exhibit.
The Arts Council is currently soliciting sponsorships for the new exhibit. There are opportunities for an overall Exhibition Sponsor, individual Sculpture Sponsors and Group Sponsors. In addition to those three sponsorship levels, we are also introducing a campaign to "Save the Red Pony" sculpture on the Old Town Lawn. The campaign is soliciting donations to go toward the purchase of the Red Pony sculpture so that it may remain in the City permanently. Any individual, business or organization can get more information about being a sponsor by sending an email to Ed@CoppellArtsCouncil.org or by visiting our web site at www.CoppellArtsCouncil.org.
To help promote this sculpture exhibit within the community, the Arts Council will host the Old Town "Art, Sip & Stroll" event on Friday May 17 from 6-9 pm. The event is a fundraiser for the Coppell Arts Council to help support Arts in the citiy. General admission and VIP tickets for the event are available at www.CoppellArtsCouncil.org.. All citizens are welcome to join in this fun and exciting evening of art, music, food and drinks!
