On Thursday, Feb. 28, the students at Town Center Elementary participated in the American Heart Association's annual Jump Rope for Heart event.

For the entire month, TCE students learned about heart health and the importance of regular exercise, and they worked on their jump roping skills - all while raising money for the Heart Association.

A whopping $17,912.69 was earned for the Heart Association, setting a school record for this annual event.
