Dylan Jackson and Hannah Stoutmire Jackson signed to play football at Harding University and Stoutmire signed to run track at Howard University!

Today Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) honored two student athletes who signed Letters of Intent to play sports at the collegiate level.

“We are so grateful for these young students and all they poured into PCA and our athletics program,” said PCA’s Athletic Director Chris Cunningham. “I look forward to all that God is going to continue to do in and through their lives at the next level.”

Defensive lineman Dylan Jackson will play football at Harding University this fall. Jackson was named a captain of the 2020 Lions Football Program and has been a varsity starter on the defensive line for three years. In 2020, Jackson was a two-way starter on both the defensive and offensive lines. In 2019, Jackson was named 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-State and Academic All-State. In 2020, he was named 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-State and Academic All-State. He was also named Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Scholar Athlete of the Week.

“Dylan Jackson is not only one of the best defensive linemen, but one of the best players to ever compete here at PCA,” said Cunningham, who also serves as Varsity Football Head Coach. “He was a dominant force for opponents to face on the field and as a leader on our team, he was an inspiration and example of what a Lion football player looks like! He does not compartmentalize excellence. It exists in every part of his life! We are grateful for the legacy he has left with our program.”

Hannah Stoutmire signed to run track at Howard University. Stoutmire has been on Varsity Track all four of her Upper School years. Her Freshman year, she was named All-State in the 4x400 relay. In 2019, Stoutmire was a District and Regional Champion in the 400 meters and 4x100 relay. She was an All-State Finalist in the 400 meters, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay. “Congratulations to Hannah,” said Varsity Track Head Coach Sheila Stoutmire. “We’re truly happy to see her hard work pay off, and we are praying for a blessed journey ahead.”
