Coppell Historical Society is going all out this year with the following free events at Heritage Park, 700 S. Coppell Road.
December 2nd from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Watch at the Thweatt Farm Windmill, Kirkland House, Wilson House, Ihnfeldt House and Minyard’s Grocery Store Museum & Gift Shop light up for the season, with caroling by members of the Coppell Chorale. The Minyard’s Grocery Store Museum & Gift Shop will be open for browsing and shopping.
December 3rd from 10:00am to noon. Santa and Mrs Claus are coming to Heritage Park. They will hand out candy canes and pose for pictures during Old Town’s Vintage Christmas event. Houses and the Minyard’s Grocery Store Museum and Gift Shop will be open to visitors and shoppers.
December 10th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Experience old traditions and create new ones at Holidays in Heritage Park. Learn about the families that lived in the Kirkland, Wilson and Ihnfeldt houses while viewing vintage decorations and listening to holiday songs. Sip hot cider and enjoy a German cookie. See vintage holiday items and toys and do some shopping at the 1930’s era Minyard’s Grocery Store Museum & Gift Shop.
