The City of Coppell is once again sponsoring the special holiday program called Make A Child Smile. This annual program benefits children in Coppell by providing holiday gifts for those families who need a little extra help.

Participants may stop by the City Manager’s Office between Nov. 1 and Dec. 9 to choose a paper ornament, then purchase a gift of clothing and/or a toy for the child and finally, return it to the City Manager’s Office in Town Center, wrapped, with the paper ornament attached. City staff will deliver the gifts prior to Christmas.  The program goal is to provide at least one toy and one article of clothing for each child.

Shoppers may pick up an ornament in the City Manager’s Office on the second floor of Town Center, 255 Parkway Blvd., weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holiday hours) or may email Amy Swaim at or Debbie Cravey at for ornament requests. For more information, call 972-304-3663 or email
