Girl Scout Troop 2763 has been taking boxes of donated girl scout cookies  (paid for by generous members of our community) to local senior facilities for the last 5 years.

In a typical year, a social director would walk the girls through the halls so they could meet and speak with residents.  For the last couple of years, the girls also hosted a cookie social and sat down with residents of St Josephs to enjoy cookies and stories (shown below).  But this year covid safety did not allow for this event.

Since we couldn’t speak to the residents this year, the girls in Troop 2763 made a handwritten note for each and every donated box.

We made local deliveries to a nursing home, memory care facility, assisted and independent living facilities, and had the privilege of delivering over 150 boxes of girl scout cookies to 3 Coppell senior facilities!

Thank you to our generous community for supporting Girl Scouts and making this outreach possible.
