The sand is on the stage!

We have received many calls and messages asking whether the annual Coppell High School musical was canceled for the year. Well, we have good news to report! Coppell High School Theatre makes its return to live theatre on stage with its production of the Tony award-winning musical Once On This Island, opening this weekend, April 16, 17 and 18 and shows on April 23 and 24th. The Caribbean is taking over Coppell with exuberance and powerful storytelling through dance and music. The show is vibrant. It is a folkloric story of love and loss. Ti Moune is a brave peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When their divided cultures keep them apart, Ti Moune is guided by the powerful island gods, Erzulie, Asaka, Papa Ge, and Agwe, on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who has captured her heart. General admission tickets are still available.
