Members of the Coppell Family YMCA’s Community Service Committee volunteered to assist at Metrocrest Services’ food pantry last weekend.  The job of each volunteer was to help Metrocrest clients select from the array of donated food choices based upon the size of the individual’s family.  YMCA volunteers were given an orientation instructing them on how to assist Metrocrest clients with food choices, carrying bags of groceries to the clients’ cars, restocking shelves, and assisting with incoming food deliveries. Shelley Klingemann, pictured, is the chair of the YMCA's Community Services Committee and awaits the next client to assist in the food pantry at Metrocrest Services.
