The Coppell City Council will be discussing issues including sales tax initiatives and a fire prevention week during its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Sept 27 at Town Center.
Here are several of the items on the agenda to be addressed at the meeting:
- "Presentation by the Coppell Chamber of Commerce of a Resolution regarding the 1/4 cent sales tax initiatives for the crime control district and for street maintenance."
- "Consider approval of a proclamation proclaiming the Week of October 9 through October 15, 2011, as Fire Prevention Week."
- "Consider approval of the At-Your-Door Household Hazardous Waste Agreement with Waste Management; providing residential pick-up and disposal; and authorizing the City manager to sign."
- "Consider approval of the Parks and Recreation Department's 'Cost Recovery Model, Resource Allocation Philosophy, and Policy' report, and the enclosed considerations, goals, and objectives."
