Engaged Parents of Coppell (EPOC) recently conducted a survey (announcement) concerning the CISD Transformation implemented across our district with increasing intensity over the last 5 years.  The intent was to initiate a community discussion evaluating the transformation and then to provide the CISD Board of Trustees, along with their selected search firm, feedback that will help to define the objectives our community desires for our district and in turn the vision, abilities and qualifications we and the board will be seeking in a new Superintendent.  The survey results were recently announced and the school board has selected TASB-ESS to conduct the search.  Now is our community's opportunity to provide feedback directly to TASB-ESS.  If you have not done so, we encourage you to review the survey results summary and/or the complete results with anonymous comments, review parent open forum presentations to the CISD Board and then provide TASB-ESS with your feedback by participating in the input sessions and online survey.  The community input sessions have been scheduled for May 27th - 29th and the details from Supt’s Scoop  are found below.  EPOC thanks you for your participation and your voice!

Four (4) open Community Input Sessions have been scheduled with the TASB Executive Search consultants for next week as the superintendent search process gets underway.  There will be 3 evening options and 1 mid-day option from which to choose. If one of those options is not convenient, an online opportunity will be offered through the following link http://bit.ly/CISDSuptSearch beginning today through Wednesday, May 28. During these open sessions, the participants will be asked 4 or 5 questions about the characteristics they desire in a new superintendent. The input will be used to create a profile that will aid the CISD Board of Trustees as they move forward in the search.
