Coppell Chamber Showcases Area Students and Their Excellence.

 

Throughout the entirety of the 2015-2016 school year, the Coppell Chamber of Commerce has recognized nine students around the Coppell area for their outstanding leadership, commitment and scholarship. These students were nominated by faculty and staff at their prospective schools, and sponsored by local chamber businesses.

“The Chamber Education Committee is proud to recognize outstanding students from our Coppell schools. These students are great examples of the community leaders of tomorrow and we are proud to be able to honor them,” said Beccy Ratliff, Chairman of the Chamber Education Committee.

Students were nominated from Coppell High School, New Tech High @ Coppell, Universal Academy, Parker University, Ranchview High School and North Lake College.

The beginning of the 2015-2016 school year featured four students:

August: Taylor Denson, Universal Academy, sponsored by the City of Coppell

September: Jamie Arthur, New Tech High @ Coppell, sponsored by Coppell Education Foundation

October: Daniel Kho, Coppell High School, sponsored by The Ratliff Group

November: Jamie Kinlen, Parker University, sponsored by Glazier Foods

The start of the 2016 spring semester featured five students:

January: Jodi Grider, Ranchview High School, sponsored by The Ratliff Group

February: Braden Bedicheck, North Lake College, sponsored by North Lake College

March: Yashasvi Pindi, Universal Academy, sponsored by the City of Coppell

April: Josh Fink, Coppell High School, sponsored by Las Colinas Federal Credit Union

May: Lauren Rudd, New Tech High @ Coppell, sponsored by Coppell ISD

 “I know all the great things the Chamber of Commerce does for the city and it meant a lot to me that I was chosen as their Student of the Month,” said Josh Fink, April Student of the Month, “It is nice to see your hard work recognized and praised.”

These nine students received recognition during the Chamber’s monthly luncheons and received a certificate of achievement.
