North Texas College Fair Offers Opportunities for Local Students

March Madness is over – who did you root for?

Each year, March Madness tournaments inspire teens to want to attend one or more of the participating colleges. But there is much more to these schools than their sports teams and mascots, and your child should be sure to explore every aspect of a college before making this important decision. The North Texas College Fair is an excellent place for students to begin their college search.

At the North Texas College Fair, students and parents will meet representatives from several colleges and universities, such as Baylor University, whose women’s basketball team went undefeated 40-0 to become the NCAA champions. Other participating schools include Texas A&M (Commerce), Purdue University, and Concordia University. At the college fair, students will get to explore colleges and universities in greater depth.

It is important that students learn about the day to day life at a college: What are the classes like? What is the food like? What is the campus atmosphere? What are the housing conditions? At the North Texas College Fair, students will get to learn all this and more, including information about the college admissions process and what colleges really look for in an applicant.

The North Texas College Fair, sponsored by C2 Education, will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Coppell High School, located just outside of Dallas-Fort Worth. Students and parents are welcome to attend.
