Coppell residents are encouraged to grab a lawn chair and a blanket on Friday night then head on over to the Town Center Plaza to enjoy a family-friendly movie.

A free screening of The Goonies will begin at dark around 7 p.m. on April 13 outdoors at the Town Center Plaza as a part of Coppell's Plaza Movie Series events.

Popcorn will be given out for free, so just be sure to bring a drink and additional snacks or a meal.

The next film that will be shown during the Plaza Movie Series is Zookeeper, which will be on April 20.
